Description
The Pentax CRT100 400v (code 022-322) is the three-phase version of the CR100, a surface-mounted centrifugal pump with an open impeller that handles soft solids up to 10 mm. It delivers up to 280 litres per minute and reaches a maximum head of 20.5 metres from a 0.74 kW motor, through a 1½” inlet and 1¼” outlet, running on a 400v three-phase supply at 2.4 A.
Hydraulically it is identical to the single-phase Pentax CR100 230v; the difference is the motor. On a three-phase supply it draws less than half the current of the 230v model, which suits farm buildings, nurseries and industrial sites. Wire it through a starter with suitable motor overload protection. If you only have single-phase power, choose the CR100, or the Pentax CR75 230v for lighter duties.
Like every pump in the CR range, it has a cast iron pump body and motor bracket, a stainless steel shaft and a ceramic and graphite mechanical seal. The open impeller passes soft solids up to 10 mm, the suction inlet is 1½” and the delivery outlet 1¼”, and Pentax rates the pump body for a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar. The motor is a two-pole induction motor with class F insulation and IPX4 protection, so it needs to be installed under cover.
