Description
The JS Pumps JST-75 KZN (code 011-095) is a heavy duty submersible slurry pump with a built-in agitator, for sand, silt, sludge and muddy water. It delivers up to 2,570 litres per minute and a maximum head of 20.5 metres from a 7.5 kW motor, through a 4-inch top outlet, on a 400v three-phase supply, and passes solids up to 25 mm. It gives a little more flow and head than the JST-55 KZN through the same 4-inch outlet.
The JST-75 KZN-H is the high head version: same 7.5 kW motor and 4-inch outlet, reaching 23.5 m at a lower maximum flow of 2,345 l/min. If you need a big step up in volume, the JST-110 KZN moves up to 4,135 l/min through a 6-inch outlet.
Like every KZN pump, it has a high chrome iron impeller, agitator and suction cover (wear plate) to resist abrasion, with the agitator stirring settled solids back into suspension at the inlet so they are carried out rather than left to block the pump. Double silicon carbide mechanical seals run in an oil chamber, protected by a lip seal and a shaft sleeve. The top outlet and water jacket use the pumped liquid to cool the motor, and the 4-pole motor runs at 1,500 rpm on 50 Hz with a built-in overload protector.
Features
- Up to 2,570 l/min and 20.5 m head
- 7.5 kW 4-pole motor, 1,500 rpm on 50 Hz, 400v three-phase
- 4″ top outlet
- Solids passage up to 25 mm
- Built-in agitator keeps solids in suspension at the inlet
- High chrome iron impeller, agitator and suction cover
- Double silicon carbide mechanical seals in an oil chamber, with lip seal and shaft sleeve
- Water jacket cooling and built-in overload protector
Applications
- Basement and foundation dewatering where the water carries sand
- Cofferdams and river works
- Settling lagoon transfer on quarry and aggregate sites
- Agricultural slurry and silty run-off
Built for abrasive solids such as sand, silt, grit and sludge. It is not a sewage pump for rag, wipes and fibres, and is not intended for oils, solvents or chemicals. For lifts much above 20 m, the JST-75 KZN-H is the better choice. A three-phase starter or control panel with motor protection is needed to run it.
