Description
The JS JST-37 400v (code 011-037) is a three-phase heavy duty submersible drainage pump for clean and dirty water. It delivers up to 1,300 litres per minute and a maximum head of 24 metres from a 3.7 kW motor, through a 4-inch outlet, on a 400v three-phase supply. It is the first JST on a 4-inch outlet, built for high-volume dewatering and water transfer.
It is a manual pump, so it runs whenever power is applied. JS states that every JST model can be made to run automatically with a three-phase control panel and float switches; see our pump controls and float switches. In the same range, the JS JST-37H is its high head version, 850 l/min to 35 m, and the JS JST-55 is the next size up for volume, 1,800 l/min.
Like every pump in the JST range, it has a stainless steel shaft and motor case, with a cast iron motor top cover, lower motor and seal housing, pump case, impeller and volute. Twin mechanical seals (carbon ceramic and silicon carbide) run in a lubricated chamber, and the pump comes with 10 metres of power cable. JS does not supply a hose tail with this model, so plan the outlet connection to suit your hose or pipework.

The JST range is for clean and dirty water containing small solids such as silt, sand and grit. It is not designed for raw sewage, rag or fibrous material, heavy slurry, oil or chemicals: for sewage on a 400v supply see the JST SV sewage vortex pumps, and for sand-laden water and slurry see the JST KB slurry pumps. It needs a 400v three-phase supply and, like any standard submersible, stops drawing once the water falls below the intake.
