Description
The Pentair Flotec Compac 200 (DPC200) 230v (code 020-094) is the more powerful of the two Compac sump pumps. In the same 280 mm tall body as the Compac 150, its 650 W power input moves up to 11,500 litres an hour (about 190 l/min) and lifts to a maximum head of 10 metres, through a 1¼” male outlet, on standard 230v single-phase mains.
Pick the Compac 200 when a sump fills quickly, when the hose run is long, or when the discharge point sits well above the pump. Its extra 3 metres of head means it keeps more of its flow at the outlet end than the Compac 150 230v, which remains the better value choice for a typical domestic sump with a short lift. There is no 110v Compac 200 in this range; for site transformers, see the Compac 150 110v.
The body is polypropylene with a single Noryl impeller and a stainless steel motor shaft. Pentair rates the motor IP68 with class F insulation and fits a thermal protection switch that stops the pump if the motor overloads, restarting it once it has cooled. A check valve stops water in the hose draining back, and the stepped hose connector is cut to suit ¾”, 1″ or 1¼” hose. It comes with 10 metres of power cable and weighs 5.6 kg.
A lever on the front sets the mode. In automatic (AUT) the integrated float starts the pump when the water reaches about 140 mm and stops it at about 30 mm. In manual (MAN) the float is bypassed and the pump runs until you switch it off, lowering the water to about 3 mm. The pump needs at least 15 mm of water to start pumping.

Features
- Up to 11,500 l/h (about 190 l/min) and 10 m head
- 650 W power input, 230v single phase
- Integrated float switch with automatic and manual modes
- Starts at about 140 mm and stops at about 30 mm in automatic mode
- Pumps down to about 3 mm in manual mode
- 1¼” male outlet with check valve and adjustable connector for ¾”, 1″ and 1¼” hose
- Polypropylene body, Noryl impeller, stainless steel motor shaft
- Built-in thermal protection switch, IP68 motor
- 280 x 170 x 200 mm, 5.6 kg, 10 metres of cable
Applications
- Sumps with fast inflow, such as groundwater in deeper basements
- Pumping up to a drain at ground level or along a longer hose run
- Faster flood clearance, then finishing the floor in manual mode
- Emptying wells, cisterns and rainwater tanks
For clean water and moderately dirty water carrying soft particles up to 5 mm, at up to 40°C. Sand and other abrasive solids wear the pump. Not suitable for sewage, sea water, or flammable, corrosive or aggressive liquids, and never run it without water: in manual mode stay with the pump and switch it off once the water has gone.
Even with the larger motor, the Compac 200 is a compact pump. Use a 1¼” hose for long runs to get the most from it, stand it upright on a firm base, and size the pit so it makes no more than the 30 starts an hour that Pentair recommends.
