Description

The Koshin Ponstar PX 55022 230v Manual submersible pump (code PX55022) is a heavy-duty 2-inch drainage pump for clean and dirty water. It delivers up to 260 litres per minute and a maximum head of 10 metres from a 0.62 kW motor, and runs on standard 230v single-phase mains, making it the right choice for plant rooms, basements, cellars and any site with a normal mains socket.

It is the manual version, so it runs whenever the power is on. That suits attended dewatering, or a fixed installation where a separate float switch or control panel switches the pump. If it will be left unattended, the automatic model is the safer choice. The PX 55022 230v Automatic is the same pump with automatic operation.

Like every PX, it has a polyurethane (urethane rubber) impeller and volute plate that resist sand and silt far better than cast iron, an alloy body with a stainless steel shaft, and twin mechanical seals (carbon ceramic and silicon carbide) in a lubricated oil chamber. The 2-inch BSP outlet with hose tail turns from vertical to horizontal so the hose does not kink, and the pump comes with 10 metres of power cable.
