Description

The Koshin Ponstar PX 55022 230v Automatic submersible pump (code PX55022A) is a heavy-duty 2-inch drainage pump for clean and dirty water. It delivers up to 260 litres per minute and a maximum head of 10 metres from a 0.62 kW motor, and runs on standard 230v single-phase mains, making it the right choice for plant rooms, basements, cellars and any site with a normal mains socket.

It is the automatic version, with a float switch fitted. The pump starts as the water rises and stops before it runs dry, so it can be left to look after a sump, excavation or flooded area unattended, including overnight. The PX 55022 230v Manual is the same pump with manual operation.

Like every PX, it has a polyurethane (urethane rubber) impeller and volute plate that resist sand and silt far better than cast iron, an alloy body with a stainless steel shaft, and twin mechanical seals (carbon ceramic and silicon carbide) in a lubricated oil chamber. The 2-inch BSP outlet with hose tail turns from vertical to horizontal so the hose does not kink, and the pump comes with 10 metres of power cable.
