Description
The JST-55SKSS (code 011-382) is a high-volume 5.5 kW, 400v three-phase stainless steel cutter pump with a 4″ outlet. It moves up to 2,730 litres per minute with up to 22 metres of head, more than double the flow of the 3.7 kW model.
Use it where large volumes of corrosive effluent have to be cleared quickly, such as a big leachate well or an industrial collection sump. For more head and flow, the JST-75SKSS reaches 24 metres and up to 2,935 l/min; for a lower-volume, high-lift job, the JST-37SKSS is the more economical choice. This is a heavy, industrial pump, so plan lifting equipment and a suitably rated control panel.
The pump body, impeller, shaft and motor casing are AISI 316 stainless steel. A single-channel impeller with tungsten carbide tips runs against a serrated suction cover, cutting soft and fibrous solids into smaller pieces before they leave the pump. Double mechanical seals with silicon carbide and carbon faces protect the motor, with lip seals keeping grit and abrasives away from them. The pump is supplied with 10 metres of power cable.

This is a sewage and effluent pump, not a slurry pump. Keep sand, gravel, stones and other hard abrasive solids out of the sump, as they wear the cutting edges and seals, and check chemical compatibility with 316 stainless steel and the seal materials before pumping anything other than water-based effluent. Do not use it for flammable liquids or solvents.
