Description
The JST-22SKSS (code 011-374) is the most powerful 3″ pump in the JST SK SS stainless steel cutter range. Its 2.2 kW, 400v motor gives up to 1,250 litres per minute and up to 20 metres of head, with solids up to 44 mm passing after the cutting impeller has chopped them.
Choose it over the JST-15SKSS when the discharge is higher or the pipe run longer, as the extra 3 metres of head keeps more of the flow at a working duty point. If you need more head still, the JST-37SKSS reaches 24 metres through a 4″ outlet. Run it from a pump control panel with level control.
The pump body, impeller, shaft and motor casing are AISI 316 stainless steel. A single-channel impeller with tungsten carbide tips runs against a serrated suction cover, cutting soft and fibrous solids into smaller pieces before they leave the pump. Double mechanical seals with silicon carbide and carbon faces protect the motor, with lip seals keeping grit and abrasives away from them. The pump is supplied with 10 metres of power cable.

This is a sewage and effluent pump, not a slurry pump. Keep sand, gravel, stones and other hard abrasive solids out of the sump, as they wear the cutting edges and seals, and check chemical compatibility with 316 stainless steel and the seal materials before pumping anything other than water-based effluent. Do not use it for flammable liquids or solvents.
