Description
The JS-1500SKSS (code 011-360) is the larger of the two single-phase pumps in the JS SK SS stainless steel cutter range. Its 1.5 kW, 230v motor delivers up to 945 litres per minute and up to 17 metres of head through a 3″ outlet, giving nearly three times the flow of the JS-750SKSS on the same supply.
Choose it when a single-phase site needs to clear a larger sump quickly, or where solids up to 44 mm (JS Pumps figure) are expected. Like every model in the range it is manual, and it can be fitted with a MAC 3 float switch for automatic operation. For a smaller job on 230v, see the JS-750SKSS; if three-phase power is available, the JST-15SKSS offers the same 1.5 kW size on 400v.
The pump body, impeller, shaft and motor casing are AISI 316 stainless steel. A single-channel impeller with tungsten carbide tips runs against a serrated suction cover, cutting soft and fibrous solids into smaller pieces before they leave the pump. Double mechanical seals with silicon carbide and carbon faces protect the motor, with lip seals keeping grit and abrasives away from them. The pump is supplied with 10 metres of power cable.

This is a sewage and effluent pump, not a slurry pump. Keep sand, gravel, stones and other hard abrasive solids out of the sump, as they wear the cutting edges and seals, and check chemical compatibility with 316 stainless steel and the seal materials before pumping anything other than water-based effluent. Do not use it for flammable liquids or solvents.
