Description
The JS-750SKSS (code 011-356) is the smallest single-phase pump in the JS SK SS stainless steel cutter range. A 0.75 kW motor on a 230v supply gives up to 345 litres per minute and up to 15 metres of head through a 2″ outlet, with a cutting impeller that chops fibrous and soft solids before they reach the pipework.
It suits small sumps where the effluent is corrosive and the supply is single phase, such as a farm wash-down pit or a process drain. It is a manual pump, so either switch it yourself or add a MAC 3 float switch for automatic running. If you need more flow on 230v, the JS-1500SKSS gives up to 945 l/min through 3″; if you have a three-phase supply, the JST-8SKSS is the 400v equivalent.
The pump body, impeller, shaft and motor casing are AISI 316 stainless steel. A single-channel impeller with tungsten carbide tips runs against a serrated suction cover, cutting soft and fibrous solids into smaller pieces before they leave the pump. Double mechanical seals with silicon carbide and carbon faces protect the motor, with lip seals keeping grit and abrasives away from them. The pump is supplied with 10 metres of power cable.
Features
- 0.75 kW motor, 230v single phase
- Up to 345 l/min and 15 m head
- 2″ outlet, solids up to 21 mm (JS Pumps figure)
- Tungsten carbide tipped cutting impeller with serrated suction cover
- AISI 316 stainless steel pump body, impeller, shaft and motor casing
- Double mechanical seals (silicon carbide and carbon) with lip seals
- Manual operation, MAC 3 float switch compatible
- 10 metres of power cable
Applications
- Small farm effluent and wash-down sumps on single-phase power
- Process and food waste water pits
- Corrosive drainage sumps where cast iron would rust
- Replacing a smaller stainless or cast iron sewage pump in a 2″ system
This is a sewage and effluent pump, not a slurry pump. Keep sand, gravel, stones and other hard abrasive solids out of the sump, as they wear the cutting edges and seals, and check chemical compatibility with 316 stainless steel and the seal materials before pumping anything other than water-based effluent. Do not use it for flammable liquids or solvents.
