Description
The JS JST-75KBH (code 011-128) is the high-head version of the 7.5 kW KB slurry pump. It runs on 400v three-phase and lifts to a maximum of 43 metres, delivering up to 1,200 litres per minute through a 4-inch top outlet, with a built-in agitator and 10 mm solids passage.
Against the standard JST-75KB (1,950 l/min, 31 m, 6-inch outlet), the JST-75KBH gives an extra 12 m of head in return for lower flow and a smaller outlet. It sits between the JST-55KBH (34 m) and the JST-110KBH (53 m), so pick it when your total head, including friction in the hose, is in the high 30s or low 40s of metres.
Every KB pump shares the same build. The impeller, suction wear plate and agitator are abrasion-resistant high-chrome iron, the motor casing is cast iron and the shaft is 410 stainless steel, protected by a shaft sleeve where abrasives cause wear. Double mechanical seals (silicon carbide and carbon) run in a separate oil chamber, with an additional lip seal to keep grit away from them. The motor has Class H insulation and thermal overload protection, which trips on high current or high temperature, and JS Pumps uses an enhanced cable entry sealing system. The outlet is at the top, so the pumped liquid passes the motor and helps cool it for continuous duty.
Features
- High-head pump end: up to 43 m
- Up to 1,200 l/min
- 7.5 kW, 400v three-phase motor
- 4″ top outlet
- Built-in high-chrome agitator
- Solids passage up to 10 mm
- Double mechanical seals, lip seal and thermal overload protection
Applications
- Deep mine and quarry sumps
- Pumping out of shafts and deep excavations
- Transfer to settlement ponds at a higher level
- Long rising mains on dewatering schemes
Like the other H models, it is a pressure pump. If your lift is low, a standard KB model will move far more water for the same power. These pumps are built for water carrying sand, silt and light slurry with particles up to 10 mm. They are not designed for raw sewage, rag or fibrous material, for which the JST SV sewage vortex pumps are the better choice, or for chemicals and hydrocarbons.
