Description
The JS JST-75KB (code 011-126) is a 7.5 kW, 400v three-phase submersible slurry pump with a built-in agitator. It is the smallest KB model with a 6-inch top outlet and delivers up to 1,950 litres per minute with a maximum head of 31 metres, passing solids up to 10 mm.
The 6-inch outlet suits high-volume dewatering on large-bore layflat, where friction losses stay low over long runs. For the same motor with more lift, the JST-75KBH reaches 43 m through a 4-inch outlet at up to 1,200 l/min. If you need more of both flow and head, the JST-110KB gives 2,120 l/min and 41 m.
Every KB pump shares the same build. The impeller, suction wear plate and agitator are abrasion-resistant high-chrome iron, the motor casing is cast iron and the shaft is 410 stainless steel, protected by a shaft sleeve where abrasives cause wear. Double mechanical seals (silicon carbide and carbon) run in a separate oil chamber, with an additional lip seal to keep grit away from them. The motor has Class H insulation and thermal overload protection, which trips on high current or high temperature, and JS Pumps uses an enhanced cable entry sealing system. The outlet is at the top, so the pumped liquid passes the motor and helps cool it for continuous duty.
Features
- 7.5 kW, 400v three-phase motor
- Up to 1,950 l/min and 31 m head
- 6″ top outlet for large-bore hose
- Built-in high-chrome agitator
- Solids passage up to 10 mm
- Double mechanical seals, lip seal and thermal overload protection
Applications
- Open-pit and quarry floor dewatering
- Lagoon and settling pond transfer
- Large construction excavations and cofferdams
- Dam and reservoir drainage
Make sure your hose and fittings match the 6-inch outlet, because reducing down to a smaller hose throws away much of the flow. These pumps are built for water carrying sand, silt and light slurry with particles up to 10 mm. They are not designed for raw sewage, rag or fibrous material, for which the JST SV sewage vortex pumps are the better choice, or for chemicals and hydrocarbons.
