Description
The Swim Buddy 19 230v swimming pool pump (code 014-204) is the largest pump in the Swim Buddy range. It moves up to 315 litres per minute and reaches a maximum head of 15 metres from a 0.6 kW motor, through 1½” / 50 mm inlet and outlet connections, running on standard 230v mains and drawing 4.6 A.
Choose it for a larger home pool, a longer pipe run, or a circuit with a heater or other equipment that adds resistance. Its higher head means it keeps more of its flow against that resistance than the Swim Buddy 15 230v (250 l/min, 11 m), which shares the same connections and footprint. If you need more flow than the Swim Buddy 19, a three-phase pump, or a pump mounted more than 1.5 metres above the water, look at the Pentair Swimmey swimming pool pumps.
All three Swim Buddy pumps share the same construction: a polypropylene body and diffuser, a Noryl impeller (an engineering plastic widely used in pool pumps), a stainless steel shaft and a carbon mechanical seal. A strainer basket under an inspection lid catches leaves and debris before they reach the impeller. The pumps handle water up to 50°C and have a maximum suction lift of 1.5 metres.
