Description
The Swim Buddy 15 230v swimming pool pump (code 014-202) is the middle model of the Swim Buddy range. It moves up to 250 litres per minute and reaches a maximum head of 11 metres from a 0.37 kW motor, through 1½” / 50 mm inlet and outlet connections, running on standard 230v mains and drawing 3.2 A.
This is the all-round choice for a typical home pool with a moderate pipe run, offering 4 metres more head than the smallest model. If your pool is small and the circuit simple, the Swim Buddy 11 230v (180 l/min, 7 m) draws half the current. For a larger pool, a longer pipe run or a heater in the circuit, the Swim Buddy 19 230v moves up to 315 l/min with a 15 metre maximum head. All three share the same connections and footprint.
All three Swim Buddy pumps share the same construction: a polypropylene body and diffuser, a Noryl impeller (an engineering plastic widely used in pool pumps), a stainless steel shaft and a carbon mechanical seal. A strainer basket under an inspection lid catches leaves and debris before they reach the impeller. The pumps handle water up to 50°C and have a maximum suction lift of 1.5 metres.

For clean, treated swimming pool water only. Not designed for drainage, flood water, dirty water or solids, and must never run dry: fill the pump body with water before starting it. Not available in three-phase.
