Description
The Pentair Jung Drenox 80/7 Automatic 110v (code 555-006) is the smallest Drenox stainless steel submersible drainage pump, fitted with a float switch and supplied for 110v site transformers. It has a 0.2 kW motor and a 1¼” outlet. Jung Pumpen’s table gives 57 litres per minute at 2 metres of head, 43 l/min at 3 m and 17 l/min at 5 m, with the curve ending at 6 m. Jung publishes these figures for the 230v 80/7 and does not list separate figures for the 110v version.
The float switch starts the pump as the water rises and stops it as the level falls. Jung gives a start level of about 250 mm and a stop level of about 100 mm for the 80/7 AUT, so it suits a sump or chamber that has to be kept down unattended rather than a floor you want pumped dry; for that, the Drenox 80/7 Manual 110v run by hand takes water down to 3 mm. The Drenox 80/7 Automatic 230v is the mains version.
Like every Drenox, the pump is made from AISI 304 stainless steel: pump housing, impeller and motor casing. The double seal is NBR rubber with a sand guard V-ring running in an oil chamber, and a heat exchange chamber cools the motor, so the pump can run for long periods without being fully submerged. It comes with 10 metres of cable and an elbow hose fitting for 32 mm hose on the 1¼” outlet.
Features
- All AISI 304 stainless steel construction
- Float switch for automatic start and stop
- 0.2 kW motor for a 110v site supply
- 1¼” outlet with elbow fitting for 32 mm hose
- Double NBR seal with sand guard, in an oil chamber
- 10 m of cable; weighs 5.7 kg
Applications
- Unattended sump and lift pit drainage on site
- Keeping chambers and excavations clear of seepage
- Temporary drainage on 110v supplies
Size the sump so the pump starts no more than 30 times an hour, and leave room for the float to move freely.
For clear water, partly dirty water and non-aggressive liquids up to 40°C, with solids no larger than 3 mm. It must never run completely dry, and it is not suitable for sewage, sludge, leaves or rag, or for flammable or dangerous liquids. For dirtier water with soft solids, see the Jung Omnia vortex pumps; for sewage, the Jung Nocchi Priox range.

Flow is converted from Jung Pumpen’s published performance tables for the 230v and 400v pumps. Jung does not publish separate figures for the 110v 80/7. Automatic versions stop at the float switch-off level shown. See the Pentair Jung Drenox drainage pump range page for help choosing and answers to common questions.
