Description
The JS Pumps JS-1500 230v Manual heavy duty contractor pump (code 011-760) is a cast iron submersible drainage pump for clean and dirty water. It delivers up to 720 litres per minute and lifts to a maximum head of 19 metres from a 1.5 kW motor, through a 3″ outlet, running on standard 230v single-phase mains.
This is the manual version, so it runs whenever the power is on. That suits attended dewatering, or a fixed installation where a separate float switch or control panel switches the pump. The JS-1500 230v Automatic is the same pump with automatic operation, and the JS-1500H 230v Manual is the high-head version, 450 l/min to 22 m on a 2-inch outlet.
The JS-1500 and JS-1500H are 230v only. On a 110v site, the JS-750 is the largest model in the range.
Like every pump in the range, it has a stainless steel motor case and shaft, a cast iron volute, motor top cover and lower bearing and seal housing, and twin mechanical seals (carbon ceramic and silicon carbide) in a lubricated oil chamber. The side-mounted outlet points vertically upwards, and the pump comes with 10 metres of power cable and a hose tail.

Suitable for clean and dirty water with small solids such as silt, sand and grit. Not designed for sewage, sludge, rag or fibrous material, or water containing oil or chemicals.
