JS Box 150 Domestic Pumping Station 9000-4060

Description

The JS Box 150 (code 9000-4060) is a compact domestic pumping station for grey water: a ready-made box with a JS Pumps JS-150SV vortex pump fitted, for lifting waste water from a basin, sink, bath or shower that sits below the drain. The pump delivers up to 125 litres per minute and a maximum head of 6.5 metres from a 0.15 kW motor, through a 1¼” outlet, on a 230v single-phase supply drawing 1.4 A. It switches automatically on an AGMA W float switch.

This is the smaller of the two JS Box models, measuring 352 x 300 x 400 mm (H x W x L) and weighing around 10 kg, so it is the better choice where space is tight. If you need more flow, larger soft solids or a longer lift, the JS Box 250 uses the bigger 1½-inch JS-250SV pump and gives up to 240 l/min. The pump is also sold on its own in the JS-150SV sewage vortex pump range, in manual and automatic versions for 230v and 110v.

The JS-150SV is a light pump with a plastic pump body, impeller, motor lid and lower motor housing, sealed by a single mechanical seal. Its vortex impeller sits back from the inlet and spins the water rather than forcing everything through the blades, so soft solids up to 25 mm pass with less risk of blockage.

The JS Box 150 is for grey water only. It is not for toilet waste: for a WC, choose a Vacusystem sewage pump station. Keep it to short lifts, because flow falls quickly as the head rises: at 2 metres the pump gives roughly 100 litres per minute, and nothing at 6.5 metres.
