None of the RS models come with a float switch fitted as standard. For automatic operation, a MAC3 cable float or AGMA tube float can be added. What’s the difference between RS models and voltages?

The model number reflects motor power, and higher numbers mean greater flow rate and head. Voltage is a separate choice based on your site’s power supply: 110v for reduced voltage equipment, 230v for standard mains. Performance is identical between voltages of the same model.

Can these pumps run continuously?

Yes. Unlike the lighter RS-100, the RS-150 through RS-750 are specifically designed for continuous duty, thanks to the top-mounted outlet that keeps the motor cooled even in low water conditions.

Do I need a float switch?

None of the models come with one fitted as standard. A MAC3 cable float or AGMA tube float can be added for automatic operation. Note that AGMA isn’t recommended on the RS-750 110v due to its current draw, so a MAC3 is the safer choice at that size.

What size solids can the RS range handle?
