JS RS 100 1" Light Duty Drainage Pumps

The RS-100 is a light duty submersible drainage pump built for small sumps, tanks, and light-duty clean or dirty water applications where a compact, budget-friendly solution is all that’s needed. It’s a straightforward centrifugal pump with a plastic body and impeller, capable of handling particles up to 4mm, and it’s supplied without a float switch as standard.

Two voltage options cover most site requirements: a 230v version for general use, and a 110v version for sites that need reduced voltage equipment on a transformer, such as construction sites and other locations governed by site safety requirements. Both deliver identical performance, up to 80 l/min at a 6.5m head, drawing just 0.11kW.

The RS-100 suits facilities managers and contractors specifying pumps for small plant rooms, equipment tanks, condensate removal, and any light-duty drainage task where the water is relatively clean or only lightly contaminated. It isn’t designed for continuous pond use or heavy-duty dirty water, and it must not be installed lying on its side, since this affects motor cooling.

Choosing between the 110v and 230v models

The choice here comes down to your site’s power supply rather than pump performance, since both models share identical flow rate, head, and solids handling specifications. If you’re working on a construction site or anywhere covered by reduced low voltage regulations, the 110v model is the correct choice and will typically run from a site transformer. For standard mains-powered installations in plant rooms, basements, or equipment tanks, the 230v model is the more common option.

Neither model comes with a float switch fitted as standard. If you need the pump to start and stop automatically as water levels rise and fall, a compatible Mac-3, Mouse, or REKA switch can be added.
